If you are looking to improve your foundational movements and pick up some new skills at the same time, check out our first Movement seminar. Coach Jason will be hosting a series of these workshops throughout the year. The goal of each of these seminars is to refine our basic fundamental movements which will allow us to be more efficient in the more complex ones. Each session will highlight a variety of different movements as well as incorporate the necessary mobility and strength techniques that will allow you to reach your next progression.
Here is a sneak peak at the agenda for the first seminar:
- Air squat – Yes I know it seems basic, but if you can’t do a proper air squat, your faults will be expressed even more when holding a bar.
- Pistols – Learn the step by step progressions on how to perform a proper pistol. Balance, strength, and mobility are all key factors in being able to do this movement efficiently, find out how to improve the one holding you back.
- Push-Up – Another basic movement, but the foundation for many other movements (dips, presses, HSPU, bench press, etc). Learn how to generate torque through the shoulder making you as stable as possible while activating as much musculature as possible.
- Handstand Push-up: An extension of the push up but has many of it’s own complexities. Learn a step-by-step progression for how to complete a kipping handstand push-up.
**Cost: $25. Seminar will be capped at 10 participants. Needs minimum of 7.
